Architects, Planning – everyone take a bow!

I WRITE regarding the new office building recently constructed on the corner of Colomberie and Little Green Street which I believe is to be occupied by the Mourant law practice.

May I say to the architect and the developers and, indeed, the Planning authorities: ‘Take a bow with the completion of this lovely building.’

It has replaced a load of old rubbish that occupied the site for many years, causing a complete eyesore to the eastern gateway to the town.

Walking down Colomberie, you are now met with a handsome building adorned with two wonderful pieces of art instead of two pieces of timber propping up a derelict building.
Well done to all concerned.

Walk a little further down Little Green Street towards the coastline and you will see a not so handsome incinerator under completion.
