‘No holds barred’

Jersey Rugby Club coach Ben Harvey.
DESPITE being favourites for tomorrow’s National 3 league match against Basingstoke, the Jersey Rugby Club are taking nothing for granted.
Jersey are currently top of the National 3 London and SE league with a massive 88 points compared to fifth-placed Basingstoke, who have 51, but the Jersey team will go into tomorrow’s game at St Peter well aware that the visitors are looking forward to causing a major upset.
‘They’ve got better over the season; we know they’ll be a challenge, and they’ll rise to it,’ said coach Ben Harvey.
‘We played well when we beat them at their place (51-18) but they certainly aren’t a bad side and they’ve some outstanding players, including No 8 Sam Harding, who played for the All Blacks and centre Rory Greenslade-Jones who played, I believe, for Gloucester.’
