Scott Clayton
JERSEY tennis player Scott Clayton has won an invite to the prestigious AEGON Winter Grand Prix Masters.
The 16-year-old, who was undefeated in the U18 County Cup competition at the weekend, will attend the Masters this weekend at the invitation of the Lawn Tennis Association.
Jersey coach Andrew Evans said: ‘It is no more than Scott deserves, he has been in very good form. He is probably now in the top two players in the country in his age group.
‘At the weekend he again played well and watching him his game is intense. His physical fitness is good and he is mentally strong.’
