As a member of the Midsomer Norton Society, Ann Noad is currently researching Hollies House, Midsomer Norton, a Grade 2 Georgian House.
She has written to say that a Major General William Cross Barrett, of Bon Air, St Saviour, lived in the property from 1923 to 1926, then sold it to Foster Yeoman. Mr Barrett was a Major General in HM Indian Army, CB, CSI, DSO.
Mrs Noad is hoping to find out more about his family and personal background and wondered if any of our readers could help.
