IT was business as usual for St Clement A in Division I of the Dominion Winter Netball League this week as they edged one step closer to the title with a 56-39 win over Convent B.

They survived a close opening quarter, winning 14-13, before stamping their authority on the game and pulling away for a 17 goal victory.

Player of the match honours went to Jenna Murphy for Convent and St Clement captain Jenna Meredith.

Convent A remain top of the table, having played two extra games, and were never troubled as they recorded an 80-13 victory over St Clement B with Sarah Dodson, her sixth of the season, and Tammy Fage gaining the respective PoM accolades.
