Boost for Jersey-China links

A DELEGATION from 30 top Chinese companies is to come to Jersey this summer as the Island seeks to increase trade links with the world’s fastest-growing economy.
A presentation is to be made to the major companies in London next month ahead of an official fact-finding visit later in the year.
News of the trade delegation was announced by Jersey Finance’s Hong Kong representative, Zhaoan Li, at a presentation to industry members last week.
Invitations were sent out via the Chinese Embassy in London following a visit to Jersey by the Chinese Ambassador to the UK last year.
