FIRST Tower United under-16s became the first Junior League club to win a divisional title on Sunday.

Undefeated Tower claimed the Division I championship after defeating Jersey Wanderers 4-2 at Les Quennevais to maintain their 100 per cent divisional record.

Charlie Petulla notched a brace while there were singles for Calvin Weir and John Tardivel. Wanderers replied through Richard Goncalves and Ben Smylie.

Champions Tower will now represent Jersey in the John Leatt Memorial Trophy match in April away to Guernsey’s U16 champions.
