Inquest told death from heart attack followed fall

A COMPANY director who survived a fall from a ladder died later following a heart attack, an inquest heard yesterday.

Surgeons spent three and a half hours repairing Kevin Fenn’s severely broken ankles following the fall last Friday morning.

But the 48-year-old suffered a heart attack in the early hours of Saturday from which he never recovered. He died on Sunday.

The inquest heard how he slipped as he carried out a building project on La Coupe House on headland in St Martin.
