The artwork is now barely discernible on the Dumaresq Street side of the buildings.
PLANS to restore buildings that have been empty for decades have been announced by the Channel Islands Co-operative Society.
The society wants to refurbish the former Foot buildings, which used to house the Foot family music shop.
The Co-op proposes to renovate the cottages in Dumaresq Street and use the ground floor for shops or offices and the upper floors for flats. The plans include restoring the distinctive ‘His Master’s Voice’ painting, complete with obedient canine.
