CLASSIC children’s tale The Wind in the Willows proved a stage show hit for St George’s Preparatory School this week.
Eighty children from Key Stage 2 – between the ages eight and 11 – performed their socks off on the Arts Centre stage, with a purpose-built set and an audience packed with proud parents, teachers and friends.
Producer and musical director Liz Smith said: ‘It was a brilliant performance – they all did really, really well. Monday’s dress rehearsal was quite difficult but on the night they were absolutely fantastic, and the audience were thrilled. They were full of praise for the show, which was great.’
