A YOUNG student will see her logo emblazoned across thousands of T-shirts worn by Itex walkers later this year.

Jersey College for Girls pupil Eleanor Clarke (13) won the Itex design competition, beating more than 150 other entries from Jersey school children.

Last week she met with the creative design team from The Partnership to develop the image into a T-shirt print.

Eleanor said: I’m delighted to be chosen as the lucky winner. I feel extremely proud to have my design selected and printed onto so many T-shirts, worn by so many people raising money for good causes.’

The design competition was relaunched following its success last year. The winning design was selected by the Itex Walk committee.

Itex-Rotary Trust chairman Paul Owen said: ‘We were impressed with the number and high standard of entries we received. We selected Eleanor’s design because we felt it captured the vibrant spirit of the walk which is evident year-on-year.’
