TRUST company Zenith has become part of the London stock market-listed STM Group.

STM has paid £5.1 million to acquire the St Helier-based firm and the deal has been approved by the Island’s financial services regulator.

All 24 Zenith staff will keep their jobs as will the eight people already employed by STM in Jersey.

The Zenith team will move to join their STM colleagues in offices at Windward House beside Liberty Wharf, which was formerly known as the Island Site.

Zenith was set up in 1994 and has operated as a stand-alone business since 1999 providing corporate and trustee services to an international clientele. Many of its clients are UK non-domiciled.
