ADAM GODWIN is leading the Automatic Brittany Motocross championship after the first two rounds, while fellow Jersey rider Connor Gautron is lying third overall.

Godwin (7) took one win at Plousane and two wins at Mohon and Gautron, who is eight this week, took the other chequered flag at Plousane, leaving the French riders scratching their heads as to how to beat the dynamic duo.

Jack Clayden is lying in third overall in the 65 cc class while Joshua Connery has moved up to the geared bike this year and has been featuring in the top 20 in a starting line up of 40 riders.

Elliott Jackson has also moved up a class and is now in the 85 cc category, and has taken top ten positions in the two events, finishing third in his first event at Plousane.

In the Minnim/Cadet class for 85 cc bikes, riders have to qualify for the main event. At Plousane it took the officials over two hours to come to a decision as to who had qualified. Lee Le Viellez and Bradley Le Feuvre made it through and so did Matthew Rayson, though only after another 45 minutes of debate.
