ALL-CONQUERING St Paul’s Football Club lifted their fourth piece of silverware of the season on Saturday after winning the Jeremie Cup final away to St Martin’s in Guernsey.
Twin-strikers Craig Leitch and Ross Crick scored St Paul’s goals and just a few days ahead of the Upton Park Trophy meeting with Belgraves there are now worries over the fitness of Leitch and Muratti captain Stuart André.
St Paul’s manager Craig Culkin said: ‘It was far from a classic but how many classics are cup finals and Murattis; not many.
‘However I thought it was a comfortable win and it came at an expense as Leitch came off in the first half and André is struggling with a groin injury.
‘They will be assessed this week and if we have to play the Upton without them then so be it. We’ve played big games without key players before and if we have to do so again we will.’
