Olivia Jordan-Higgins has won the Big South women’s title
A JERSEY golfer has won a prestigious American championship at the third time of asking, smashing a record in the process.
Olivia Jordan-Higgins (22), a member of the Royal Jersey Golf Club, was playing for her University team, Charleston Southern, in the Big South Women’s Golf Championship which finished on Wednesday.
The victory was particularly sweet for Jordan-Higgins because she finished as runner-up in 2008 and 2009.
The win means that her team will now play in the NCAA Division 1 women’s Golf Championship, which starts in May.
