More jobs go at Heritage
Friday 23rd April 2010, 2:58PM BST.
MORE jobs have been lost at Jersey Heritage in cost-cutting measures announced yesterday.
Pensioners and children will also lose their free access to Heritage’s sites by 2011.
The organisation has been forced to make savings after independent reports found that it was struggling.
Jersey Heritage has trimmed 20 staff positions, including 13 redundancies, and will introduce new charges next year removing free access for local children and pensioners to their sites.
Jersey Museum and the Maritime Museum, which are currently open for 12 months of the year, will now be closed for part of the winter.
