THIS time next year Islanders will be able to dine out in a new café overlooking St Ouen’s Bay.

The owner of Le Braye Café has had plans passed to demolish the existing building to construct a modern café and restaurant with ice-cream parlour and beach shop.

Owner Tony Pirozzolo said that the current café would stay open this summer, but that demolition would start over the winter.
