Another hat in the ring for the seat of Senator

Businessman Gino Risoli.

A ST Helier businessman is to make another attempt at getting into the States.

Gino Risoli, who owns La Petite Baguette at Snow Hill, has become the second person to throw his hat into the ring following the removal from the House of Stuart Syvret.

The former Senator was forced to give up his seat after being absent from the Island since October in self-imposed exile. Parliamentary rules say that a person must lose their seat if they are out of Jersey for six months.

Mr Risoli’s declaration follows that of Deputy Geoff Southern, who declared his intention to stand last week.

See Monday’s JEP for full story.

Can they please advertise the job with a full job description available so i can apply please.

Because if we have managed in the last 6 months with out some one in this role sounds like a job i would like to do as it does not seem to require a lot of hours spent on doing the job, or perhaps other people have picked up the tasks to fill their day in, of course the law properly states we have to have x amount of people.
