SEASONED campaigner Paul Wright was Jersey’s leading individual bowler at the Senior Triple Crown tournament played at Jersey Bowl.

Wright excelled to place fifth in both the singles and masters events competing against 41 other highly competitive bowlers.

A top game score of 229, in game four, helped Wright to a total pin fall of 1,151 for an average 191.83. All bowlers completed 15 games played in singles, doubles, trios, mixed doubles and the five-bowler teams.

Jersey’s leading woman was Chris McGovern in 15th while Pat Lomas recorded a high game score of 235.
