Jersey Rugby Club off to Twickenham
Thursday 29th April 2010, 12:00PM BST.
Jersey Rugby Club have earned an historic date at Twickenham by defeating Taunton 65-14.
The team swept aside the South West National III champions at St Peter in the league semi-final to book their place at RFU headquarters on Saturday 8 May, in the final against Midlands III top dogs Ampthill from Bedfordshire.
But Jersey will first have to concentrate on defending the Siam Cup – the second-oldest rugby trophy in the world – when they play their annual fixture against Guernsey on Saturday.
