Traylen just misses out on new sprint mark record

PAUL TRAYLEN set the fastest time of the day in the LC Pallot and Sons/Sealey Tools Sprint at the Five Mile Road on Saturday.

Clocking 10.31 seconds on his Hacquoil and Cook Hayabusa Suzuki 1,400 cc bike during a second run in the unlimited class, he just missed out on breaking his own record.

Len Amy in the Sports Libre class put up the fastest racing car time of the day with a very swift 11.13 time and a terminal speed of 128 mph in his Mallock.

In the first sprint of the season, which featured a large field of cars and bikes, the biggest class of the day was the run what u brung bike class with 32 entries.
