Markowska headlines in ‘Battle of Jersey’

JERSEY kickboxing queen Monika Markowska tops the bill in the ‘Battle of Jersey’ martial arts show at Fort Regent on Saturday evening.

Markowksa, who won two medals competing in the Irish Open in March, will be fighting against the number one Polish fighter in the under 55 kg category.

The ‘Battle of Jersey’ night, involving Island clubs Cho’s Tae Kwon Do Jersey, Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Jersey Kickboxing Club and Pisces Thai Boxing Gym, will be putting on 15 fights organised in conjunction with Global Kickboxing Ireland.

The show, which as already sold over 450 tickets, will feature full contact kickboxing MMA, K1 and 2 and white collar fights.
