THE sight of foreigners digging beneath the walls of Mont Orgueil would once have terrified Islanders.

Channel Four’s Time Team has been filming at the castle this week while doing a three-day dig to try to unlock the secrets of one of Jersey’s best-known historical sites.
The 60-strong team of archaeologists and TV crew, led by Blackadder star and TV presenter Tony Robinson and archaeologist Phil Harding, are filming for their 18th series, due for broadcast next year.
