JERSEY girls as young as 12 are using the internet to trade images of their body for cigarettes and alcohol.

The world of teenage sex and underage binge drinking was revealed in the Royal Court yesterday as a man was sentenced for inciting girls to show him their bodies via a web chat room.

But far from being innocent victims, most of the girls were often complicit in the acts and even bartered with the defendant over how much of their body they were prepared to show, the court heard.

Cordery, who was 19 at the time of the offences, and lives in Grouville, pleaded guilty to 12 charges, consisting of making and inciting the making of indecent images of children. He was put on probation for 18 months and ordered to carry out 120 hours of community service.
