Beautiful Jersey should be the anthem

WE write in support of Meridian’s final suggestion (JEP, 29 May) that Jersey’s official anthem be ‘Beautiful Jersey’ by Mr Lindsay Lennox as sung by Sadie Rennard on occasion.
It seems that crowd reactions to the designated stately, if not sombre, hymn-like composition is self explanatory when compared to ‘Beautiful Jersey’. We rest our case.
