St Peter bedding firm in wind-up proposal
Friday 4th June 2010, 3:00PM BST.
ST PETER-based bedding and furniture company Big Deal Carpets Ltd is the subject of a proposed creditors’ winding up.
But a separate business that sells carpets and flooring from the same premises in Rue de l’Eglise will continue to trade as normal, according to Tony Bran, the Guernsey-based businessman who owns it.
A notice was placed in the Jersey Gazette yesterday to say that James Toynton of Grant Thornton had been appointed liquidator of Big Deal Carpets Ltd.
There will be a meeting of creditors at the office of the liquidator in Kensington Place on 15 June at 11.15 am.
