CHANNEL Islands champions St Paul’s are looking for a new first-team manager as the result of Craig Culkin relinquishing his position.

Culkin has cited personal reasons for his departure but he says he would like to return to management again some time in the near future and possibly the Island manager’s position if it is still unoccupied next year.

Culkin, assisted by Martin Cassidy, helped steer St Paul’s to victory in all six competitions open to them in the season just finished, eclipsing St Peter FC’s magnificent five-trophy haul back in 2001 when St Peter just missed out becoming the first Jersey club to make a clean sweep of the silverware when they were defeated by North in Guernsey’s Jeremie Cup final.
