Bra firm founder to be IoD guest speaker

WEST Ham United vice-chairman and star of the BBC TV show Junior Apprentice Karren Brady has pulled out of an appearance in Jersey next Friday.

She was supposed to be the guest speaker at the first ever Director of the Year awards to be held at the Hotel de France.

However, because of ‘unforeseen business commitments’ she will now be ‘overseas’ on the day.

And she is to be replaced by another businesswoman, founder of bra business Ultimo, Michelle Mone.
