JCRA chief to leave in October

CHUCK Webb is to leave his post as executive director of the Island’s competition regulator in October.
The American national will have completed a three-year term of office in the role of executive director, having originally joined the Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority as an in-house legal adviser in 2005.
He intends to return to the US and re-enter private practice as a lawyer.
Work will now start on undertaking a recruitment process to appoint Mr Webb’s successor.
