Conference to focus on financing of terrorism
Thursday 10th June 2010, 3:00PM BST.
TERRORIST financing and government corruption are among the subjects eminent speakers from across the globe will tackle at a major conference in Jersey in November.
The sixth annual BakerPlatt economic crime symposium, to be held at the Hotel de France, is acknowledged by industry practitioners as giving high-quality information on financial crime and related regulatory issues.
The day-long event will feature speakers from the US and UK. Attorney General Tim Le Cocq, director general of the Jersey Financial Services Commission John Harris and States acting police chief David Warcup will be among the leading local speakers.
