Set World Cup rules, firms are warned

BUSINESSES are being urged to lay down clear rules of the game for workers watching the World Cup.
Many matches have afternoon kick-offs and workers may be tempted to slope off when they are supposed to be doing their jobs.
A significant night-time victory could lead to over-indulgence and a raging hangover that would prevent attendance at work the next day.
Mathew Beale, the managing director of the Comsure Group, is urging employers to ensure that workers know the rules during the global football festival.
