Dufty in tune with Bay of Waves
Saturday 12th June 2010, 3:00PM BST.
THE highest mark at dressage to music, British Dressage qualifiers, held this month at Les Niemes, St Peter, was achieved by 15-year-old Gemma Dufty on Bay of Waves.
Riding in the novice freestyle, she finished with a total score of 75.64 per cent and was one of three riders to record an impressive nine out of ten for one of the movements in her test.
The classes, hosted by John and Natasha Byfield, were the first dressage to music qualifiers to be held at Les Niemes. Run over two days, they were well supported with over 50 entries and classes from novice level to Grands Prix judged by international list one judge Jenny Williams and international rider and trainer Nicky Barrett.
