ISLANDERS will cast their votes in next year’s general election without vital information on population and immigration.

Just weeks after the 2011 election, the first Census in ten years will reveal crucial details about the Island’s population, including the first official population figure since 2001.

But voters will be making their choices at the ballot boxes and candidates will be campaigning without definitive information on the perennial key issues of population and immigration.

St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft says that he will try to get the States to amend the timetable so that the information comes out in time to inform voters’ choices.

    strategic misdirection not to have the facts in time for the voters to be influenced…and I guess it will be OOPs surprise surprise look at how many are here,Oh well lessons will be learnt…NOT…this has all been deliberate to foster the growth at any price policy of Ozouf and co as they won’t control spending..unyet we hold more data on people here than the CIA..so they know alright,they just don’t want their dictatorial plans intefered with. more developments ,more broze art crap more pen pushing parasites.Time to take Jersey back..
