Institute of Law appoints tutors
Friday 18th June 2010, 3:00PM BST.
THE Institute of Law in Jersey has announced the membership of its ‘flying faculty’ of tutors who will teach to degree level in the Island from the beginning of October.
Eight experienced academics from UK universities will teach on Fridays and Saturdays and a team of Jersey-based lawyers will deliver mid-week classes.
The Institute of Law in Jersey was founded to provide a focus for academic study and professional education in Jersey and Guernsey law and to nurture the legal heritage of the Channel Islands.
Its LLB degree programme will be open to mature students as well as school leavers and it can be studied as a full-time course or part-time.
