TWO teenagers were arrested last night on suspicion of causing two fires in St Brelade.
The 16-year-old boys were detained by police in connection with a fire in Mont Sohier – where three cars and a garage went up in flames – and a large bin fire near Woodbine Corner stores.
The teenagers have not been charged with any offences and the police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fires. They are urging witnesses to either fire to come forward to speak to them.
At about 11 pm last night the Fire Service were called to the fire outside a family house at Mont Sohier. Three cars were engulfed by the fire, which later spread to a wooden garage and nearby trees.
