Full speed ahead for new lifeboat

The new Eric W Wilson lifeboat.
THE new St Catherine station lifeboat powered ashore yesterday to start its new life covering waters around the Island.
The new Atlantic 85 lifeboat, to be named Eric W Wilson, will replace the Eric Rowse, which has been used at the station since 2001.
The boat will mainly cover the east and north of the Island, but will also be available to help with searches around the rest of Jersey.
