Teenagers charged over St Brelade vehicle fires

TWO teenagers who were arrested on Tuesday night on suspicion of starting a fire which burnt out three cars in St Brelade have been charged.
The two 16-year-old youths were due to appear in the Magistrate’s Court today charged with larceny and maliciously setting fire to the cars on Tuesday night outside a house at Mont Sohier.
At about 11 pm a family with a young toddler had to escape from their house by jumping over a wall as three cars in their driveway and their garage went up in flames.
