Hollywood couldn’t do better

Monday 28th June 2010, 2:58PM BST.

From Harold and Kate Kedeacian.
MY wife and I have just returned from seeing a truly fantastic exhibition of Marilyn Monroe at your local museum.

Nothing in Hollywood could have been better presented than this great show.
We were lucky enough to have photographs taken of the portrait ‘Lady in Red’, which the museum have adopted as the title after your recent photograph in the Jersey Evening Post.

We were informed that the artist, Lisa Kay Kennedy, is a local lady who did it for the love of Marilyn and would not accept any payment.

I only wish she could have come and painted us, but we were leaving the Island.
Thanks, Jersey Museum, for making our holiday to your lovely Island.
