Duquemin gets nod for Canada

JERSEY athlete Zane Duquemin has been selected for the Great Britain team for the World Youth Games in Moncton, Canada, later this month.
Duquemin (18) achieved the World Youth Games’ discus qualifying distance in the national U20 championships last month, but as he was pushed into the silver medal position by teenage sensation Lawrence Okoye, who is now his training partner under coach John Hillier, he was not guaranteed a place in the team.
