Lawyers take magazine offshore title

LAW firm Appleby has been handed the title of offshore firm of the year in the prestigious annual awards of The Lawyer magazine.
The trophy was collected last week by the chairman of the firm’s executive board, John Bisson, at a glittering awards ceremony at Grosvenor House attended by over 1,000 top international lawyers.
The judges decided to select Appleby as it had demonstrated ‘superior strategic clarity’, technical legal excellence and quality control.
They also recognised that the firm had achieved growth in market share across the offshore market.
