No bids for Pitman – yet

Rumours of a move by Jerseyman Brett Pitman from Bournemouth Football Club to the Premiership have been denied.

Reports earlier this week linked the former St Paul’s and First Tower United striker with a £700,000 move to Premiership new boys Blackpool, but club chairman Eddie Mitchell has stated that he has received no bids for last season’s leading goalscorer with 28 goals – 26 in the league – or any other player.
