Main burst causes delays for drivers
Friday 9th July 2010, 2:56PM BST.

The disruption added to that already being faced by drivers because of the roadworks on Victoria Avenue
DRIVERS suffered long delays yesterday after a water main burst on one of Jersey’s busiest roads.
The burst, on the inner road at First Tower, caused long tailbacks during the evening rush hour.
Although the road remained open, the link road leading to and from Victoria Avenue was closed to enable engineers to fix the leak. The road reopened at about 4 am today.
