Sport in schools

The question of whether there is sufficient competitive sport in schools was raised in the States this week.
Columnist Chris Lake is in no doubt of the answer:
‘Well, sport may be for fun but, personally, I don’t think there can be enough of it and I also think that in sport as in life you need to reward the winners while sympathising with the losers.’
