Fun in the sun out west this weekend

Vultures and eagle owls are among the attractions at this weekend's big show
THE Jersey Evening Post West Show – one of the the biggest community event of the year – starts today with action-packed events for the whole family.
The highlights include daredevil stunts from motorcycle display teams whose riders will be performing breathtaking manoeuvres up to 70 feet in the air.
There will also be more traditional attractions, including livestock shows and a falconry display featuring eagle owls and a vulture.
The gates open at 9.30 am today and tomorrow and tickets can be bought on arrival.
