JERSEY’S cricketers will step into the unknown again next week when they play in ICC European Division I for the first time.
Winners of Division II in Guernsey two years ago, the Jersey Cricket Board squad faces a big step up in standard as they oppose Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands A teams together with Italy and Denmark.
The latter two nations are ranked 14 and 18 respectively, compared with Jersey’s currently standing of 22.
