Friday 16th July 2010, 3:00PM BST.

Trevor Willis achieved a new record of 37.88 in his OMS CR 06, competing in the Racing Cars Unlimited class, (01009490)
Six records were broken in a sensational day at yesterday’s National Hill Climb at Bouley Bay – including the outright record being lowered three times, with two competitors to breaking the 38-second barrier.
And, to top it all, Islander Jason Mourant qualified to race in the national top 12 run-off for the second year in a row with a 40.96 second run.
The run-off itself produced an amazing sequence of record-breaking runs. First to lower Trevor Willis’s existing record of 38.25 seconds was current champion Scott Moran, with a stunning run of 38.15.
Current championship leader, Martin Groves, then shattered the 38-second barrier for the first time pwith a run of 37.89 seconds .
Not to be outdone, former record holder, Willis, grabbed his record back with a 37.88 second run.
