Jersey to be crowned European champions!

A QUALITY man-of-the-match performance by former Jersey captain Ryan Driver helped the Jersey Cricket Board win the ICC European Division I tournament against Scotland A on Saturday.

Jersey’s fourth success in as many matches on their debut in the top flight has guaranteed them top spot and a further win today against Italy, at the FB Fields, would merely be icing on the cake.

Ireland are the only side that could draw level with Jersey, but the title would then go down to the result of the head-to-head match, which was a clear win for the Island last Wednesday.
