Treasurer resigns – but was he the fall guy for blunder?

THE Island’s Treasurer has resigned because of ill health, the Treasury Minister announced in the States yesterday.
But several Members claimed that he was the ‘fall guy’ for the incinerator funding fiasco.
Senator Philip Ozouf read a statement explaining that Ian Black had stepped down by mutual agreement from his role, which he had held for more than 11 years.
