Benefits bid to cut number of jobless

MILLIONS of pounds are to be ploughed into the benefits budget to encourage unemployed Islanders to get back to work.
The States have voted unanimously in favour of making changes to the system to encourage people back to work and allow people to keep more of what they earn.
The move comes as unemployment has started to rise again after steadily decreasing during the spring.
