Commons praise for Jersey’s contribution to UK economy

THE positive role played by Jersey’s finance industry in helping the UK economy was praised in a Westminster debate yesterday.
Conservative MP Mark Field said that the UK benefited from the receipt of billions of pounds in mobile capital that would simply not reach Britain but for the relationship between professionals in the City of London and Jersey.
